Dear supporters and kind people,
Naerata Ometi MTÜ is once again undertaking an important charity project to help Kadrin and her five children, who have found themselves in a difficult situation. Last year, with your help, we were able to support the family financially, with clothes, firewood, and food. With your support, this family spent a pleasant Christmas and started the new year more hopeful. We are grateful to everyone who supported and contributed.
Kadrin’s story:
Kadrin is raising five children alone. The father of the family left last summer, leaving the young mother to cope with the children alone. Despite the difficulties, Kadrin has provided her children with a loving and safe home. Three children go to school, one to kindergarten, and the youngest is still at home, as there is no kindergarten place available.
However, the refrigerator is empty, money is spent on medicines, school supplies, car repairs, and other necessities. Living in the countryside, a car is very important, but repairing it is also a financial burden.
Unfortunately, the situation has also been complicated by the father’s unexpected appearance, which ended in physical violence, which resulted in the mother’s vision blurring and constant headaches. When the police and ambulance took him away from the family’s house, the father came back and stole two children’s mobile phones, with which he bought M-Loto tickets, creating an additional 60-euro bill for the mother. Currently, Kadrin and her children are protected by a restraining order, and the police, social worker, and child protection services are working with the family. However, this has not prevented the father from lurking around the house. When the police have been called, he has managed to escape. It has not been possible to divorce the man so far, because the man is not voluntarily willing and in court it costs money that the family lacks. Therefore, it is not possible to seek help from the court for the theft, because officially he can take whatever he wants from his home.
How can you help?
- Financially: Every donation helps to cover expenses such as car repairs, purchasing food and hygiene products. Whether your contribution is large or small, every euro helps!
- Offering accommodation: If anyone in the Pärnu County, Paikuse or Sindi area can offer a house, cottage, or apartment with stove heating for a family of six at an affordable price, please contact us.
Let’s work together to make Kadrin’s and her children’s lives better!
Your care and support are invaluable. By helping together, we can give the family hope and confidence for the future.
