The summer warmth is in full swing, and the days are filled with sunshine. It’s a time for holidays, joy, and carefree moments. But for two Estonian families, an invisible clock is ticking, counting down to two critical events – achieving a clean home and a dignified start to the school year.
While we enjoy the summer, two brave mothers are fighting for a better future for their children. And they need our help. Right now.
Anna’s family: a race against time for health
After a fire that took everything from them, Anna and her three small children (ages 6, 2, and 3 months) have found temporary shelter. But within its walls hides an invisible enemy – toxic mold. Right now, in the summer heat, is the only and best time to permanently eliminate this threat before the autumn damp and chill lock it back into the walls. So that the baby can breathe clean air and the children can grow up in a healthy home.
Evelin’s family: a race to the school bell
Evelin’s family’s struggle began on Christmas Day 2021, when a devastating fire destroyed their home. Since then, their fortress has been a 42 m² trailer, which they renovated and insulated with their own hands on the same plot of land.
Soon, her daughter will start the first grade. This should be a day filled with pride and joy. But how can you feel confident when you don’t have a proper school backpack? Or when the family has had to save on something as basic as a kettle?
The dream of both families is simple: to provide their children with a safe and stable environment. And we are the ones who can give them the start they need.
Your help today will create their security for tomorrow
Every donation, regardless of its size, is a priceless contribution to these families’ futures. It is real, tangible help that will change everything for them.
With your support, we can buy renovation supplies to remove the toxic mold from the walls of Anna’s children’s room, replacing it with cleanliness and light. We can gift Evelin’s daughter a brand-new school backpack and pencil case, giving her confidence and joy on her first day of school.
Your contribution will help fill their tables with food, provide diapers and vitamins for the little ones, and wisely stock up on firewood so that the winter cold can never get inside. Every euro will be directly transformed into warmth, a healthy home environment, and children’s smiles.
